The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and INVESTMENT Corporation (RIICO) signed an MoU with RSPCL-Gail Gas Ltd for creating infrastructural development in natural gas sector. The agreement will initiate the process of identification of strategic locations for gas-based industries and setting up of CNG station along the DMIC corridor and state highways.

In the first phase, a mega CNG station would be established at Neemrana and another station at Kukas. In phase II, a CNG network will be developed in Jaipur, Ajmer, Sikar and Udaipur. RSPCL-Gail will also be rechristened as Rajasthan State Gas Ltd (RSGL) after nod from Union ministry of corporate affairs.

Two MoUs were signed in solar energy sector with SunEdison India and Infrastructure Leasing and FINANCIAL Services for establishing solar parks with power generation capacity of 5,000 megawatts each. Both companies will set their plants after identifying suitable land as per the newly adopted Rajasthan Solar Policy.

Another agreement was inked with automobile giant Toyota for providing technical training to the youth. Toyota agreed with the technical education department of the state government for providing training for body-repairing and painting of cars and other small commercial vehicles as part of Toyota Technical Education Programme.

The free training course would be launched at Government ITI, Shahpura (Jaipur). Employment opportunities would also be offered to the trainees and apprentices by the company after completion of their training course.

“We have already created a favourable atmosphere and the results are here for everybody to see. Renowned multinationals like Saint Gobain, Honda, JCB etc are INVESTING  in Rajasthan,” said chief minister Vasundhara Raje on the occasion.
